How do I take care of my fresh flowers?

Care Tips

  • Place your flowers in a clean vase filled with fresh water.

  • Make sure all stems are submerged in water, but remove any leaves below the waterline.

  • Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight or any appliances that produce heat.

  • If your flowers come in a floral foam arrangement, add fresh water to the foam daily to keep it moist.

Cleaning & Prevention

  • Change the vase water every day or every other day.

  • Wash the vase thoroughly each time you replace the water to prevent bacteria buildup.

  • Trim about 1-2 cm off the stems at a 45° angle every 2-3 days for better water absorption.

  • Remove any wilted flowers or leaves to keep the arrangement fresh.

Remedies

If your flowers start to wilt:

  • Re-cut the stems and place them in fresh, clean water.

  • Move the arrangement to a cooler area away from direct sunlight and heat.

If a stem breaks:

  • Trim the damaged portion if possible and place the flower in water.

  • If the stem cannot be saved, the bloom can still be floated in a shallow bowl of water as a decorative display.

How do I take care of my dried flowers?

Care Tips

  • Place them in a cool, dry area.

  • Keep them away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.

  • Avoid getting them wet or exposing them to high humidity.

Cleaning and Prevention

  • Use a hairdryer on the cool (no heat) setting with low airflow to gently remove dust.

  • Lightly spray with a disinfectant and hang them upside down until completely dry.

  • Use desiccants to reduce humidity and prevent further mold growth.

Remedies

If mold appears:

  • Gently brush off the mold and trim away any affected flowers.

  • Lightly spray the affected area with a disinfectant to help eliminate remaining mold.

If your dried flowers get wet:

  • Allow them to air dry immediately in a cool, dry, air-conditioned room.

  • Avoid direct sunlight or heat while drying.

Dried flowers are preserved to last much longer than fresh flowers. With proper care and storage, they can maintain their beauty for months or even years.
